The Settings area is where you tailor CultureWise to your organization: the admin language, your brand colors, which engagement features are turned on, what you call things internally, and where your people go for help. This guide walks through each setting in the order you'll see it.

Before you start

  • Have your brand-approved colors, preferred terminology, and support/IT ticket URL ready so you can finish in one pass.
  • If more than one admin manages settings, confirm branding, feature, and naming changes with the right stakeholders first. These apply across the whole platform.

Steps

1. Open the Settings area

From the admin dashboard, find Settings near the bottom of the left-hand menu and click the cog icon to open it. Confirm you're in the admin settings area before making any changes.

2. Set the admin section language

Choose the language your team should see across the admin section, then save or confirm the selection if prompted.

3. Update your branding colors

Select your organization's colors so the interface matches your brand. You can set colors for:

  • Buttons
  • Highlights
  • Badges
  • Accent elements

4. Turn platform features on or off

Review the feature controls and toggle each one based on what your organization wants to use:

  • Content controls
  • Custom Kudos
  • Custom Pulse Survey
  • Gamification (points and leaderboards)

5. Disable Kudos or leaderboards (optional)

If you don't want team members giving or receiving Kudos, switch that feature off. To hide leaderboards, turn off Gamification. Verify the feature is disabled before you leave the page.

6. Customize content naming

Use the Content Naming section to rename platform terms so they match what your team actually calls them. You can rename:

  • Fundamentals (to behaviors, pillars, principles, or your own term)
  • Weekly Insight
  • Quick Tips
  • Coaching Guide
  • E-Minder lesson
  • Pulse Survey
  • Kudos

Confirm the new names read clearly and stay consistent with your internal terminology.

7. Add a Help Center link

Paste your organization's support or IT ticketing URL into the Help Center link field. This points team members to the right place for IT questions, internal support tickets, and CultureWise software issues. Test the link to make sure it routes correctly.

Cautionary notes

  • Don't disable a feature unless your organization has confirmed it should be unavailable to users.
  • Custom naming changes affect labels throughout the platform, so review terminology carefully before saving.
  • Make sure the Help Center link is accurate. A wrong URL can leave users unable to get support.

Tips for efficiency

  • Prep your approved language, colors, and terminology before you open Settings.
  • List every label you want to rename so you can update them all in one session.
  • Use one consistent naming standard to reduce confusion for users.
  • After saving, test the Help Center link and feature visibility to confirm everything works.
