The Fundamentals feature is where you manage all the content tied to each Fundamental of the Week: the description, Weekly Insight, Quick Tips, Coaching Guide, videos, lessons, and Pulse Survey. This guide walks through editing each section.

Steps

1. Open the Fundamentals section

Log in to the admin panel and click Fundamentals in the left-hand menu to see all your Fundamentals at a glance.

2. Select the Fundamental to edit

Choose the specific Fundamental of the Week you want to update. This view manages all of its related content in one place.

3. Review the editable sections

Opening a Fundamental shows these sections. Confirm which ones need updates before you start editing:

• Description
• Weekly Insight
• Quick Tips
• Coaching Guide
• Videos
• Lessons
• Pulse Survey

4. Edit the description, Weekly Insight, and media type

Click Description to edit the text. Click Weekly Insight to upload content and assign the author. If the content is a video, switch the content type to Video. When you're done, click Save in the top-right corner.

5. Update Quick Tips

Click into the Quick Tips area and edit the text directly in the box, or upload/replace content as needed. Click Save when the button appears.

6. Manage the Coaching Guide and its visibility

Open the Coaching Guide and edit any of:

• Coaching tips
• Teaching points
• Questions for discussion

To hide a section, toggle it off. Confirm it's disabled if you no longer want that content displayed.

7. Add or edit videos

Review the existing video list included with the system. To add your own, click Add Video, enter a title, and paste the embed URL from a supported platform:

• YouTube
• Vimeo
• Cloudflare Stream

Confirm the link is correct, then save the entry.

8. Edit eMinder lessons

Find the eMinder Lessons section, open the lesson you want to update, edit the content, and save your changes.

9. Create or update a Pulse Survey

Add a Pulse Survey for the selected Fundamental of the Week. Title it to match the Fundamental, align the questions with that same weekly Fundamental, and review for consistency before saving.

Cautionary notes

• Always click Save after editing. Changes can be lost if you navigate away without saving.
• Make sure the content type is set correctly, especially when switching between text and video.
• If you disable coaching tips or another section, confirm the content should stay hidden before turning it off.
• Verify embedded video URLs are valid and come from supported platforms only.
• Keep Pulse Survey questions aligned to the correct Fundamental of the Week to avoid mismatched content.

Tips for efficiency

• Review all sections for the selected Fundamental before editing so you can batch your updates.
• Prepare copy, author names, and video URLs in advance to cut down on screen-switching.
• Use the same naming convention for videos and surveys to keep content organized.
• Save after each major change to prevent accidental data loss.
• Work top to bottom in the order shown in the panel so you don't miss a section.
