A Weekly Insight is the featured content tied to a Fundamental. This guide shows how to pick the right Fundamental, assign the author, add your text or video, and save it so it's ready to go live.

Steps

1. Open the Fundamentals section

From the admin panel, click Fundamentals in the left-hand menu to display the full list, then find the Fundamental you need to update.

2. Select the correct Fundamental

Click the Fundamental you want to add the Weekly Insight to (in the video, it's Go the Extra Mile). Confirm you're editing the right one before making changes.

3. Open the Weekly Insight editor

Within the selected Fundamental, click Weekly Insight to open its editing area. The other sections (Description, Quick Tip, Coaching Guide, Videos, Lessons, Pulse Survey) are also editable, but aren't part of this task.

4. Assign the author

Choose the Weekly Insight author, the person responsible for writing it. The system alerts that person so they know it's theirs.

5. Enter the message and optional video

Paste the Weekly Insight text into the body paragraph field. To add a video, click the plus (+) button, enter a title, and paste the video URL into the field provided.

6. Use an approved video platform

If you're embedding a video, use one of the approved platforms and verify the URL is correct before saving:

• YouTube
• Vimeo
• Cloudflare Stream

7. Save the Weekly Insight

Click Save in the top-right corner and confirm the changes save successfully. Once saved, the Weekly Insight is ready to go live.

Cautionary notes

• Select the correct Fundamental before editing any content.
• Don't forget to assign the author, or the responsible person won't get the system alert.
• Only embed video from approved sources: YouTube, Vimeo, or Cloudflare Stream.
• Always click Save after making changes, or your updates may be lost.

Tips for efficiency

• Prepare the Weekly Insight text and video URL before opening the admin panel to save editing time.
• Double-check the Fundamental name and author selection before saving.
• Copy and paste the message to avoid formatting errors.
• If you add a video, keep the title concise and descriptive so it's easy to identify later.
